We had the good fortune to have paintings in three venues this month. The first was the Capitol Hill Arts League show, "Night and Day." This was Bob's first entry into a juried show, and, sure enough, one of his paintings was selected. Kay also had one selected and won an honorable mention.

Bob with his entry, "Harpers Ferry Under the Sun."

Kay with juror, Mark Powers.

Kay with her award for "Yearning Burning Inside of Me", which has also sold.
The second venue was the Park Cafe where our teacher, Gina Clapp, had the works of her students on display.

Bob's entry, "Shadow of CHAW,"
The third venue was the Capitol Hill Arts League all media show at Results the Gym. Bob and Kay each had four entries. One of Kay's paintings, "Results the Gym" sold prior to the opening reception.

Kay and our friend and artist, Tara Hamilton. Tara's painting is on the left and Kays on the right. One of Tara's paintings also sold at the opening reception.
